A Bit About Me
My passion for fiber arts started with a deep love of animals. I am first and foremost a rancher. After discovering the joys of raising, breeding, and having livestock I wanted to create with and use what they produced to make something beautiful. Natural fibers are such a wonderfully forgiving medium that expresses feeling wonderfully. Each animal is different, and so is the fiber they produce. Fiber arts gives what animals give willingly each year new life, character, and shape, while the animals themselves live a happy life. For every fiber there are numerous relaxing crafts and ways to enjoy it. Sustainable, woolly, spunky, stubborn, and sweet; there's nothing so rewarding as being able to share my life with these wonderful animals. When I'm not on the ranch I enjoy hiking or skiing in the Colorado mountains, swimming or fishing in a lake or river, or curling up by a fire with a cup of peppermint tea and a good book. I'm an avid woodworker artist, and writer.
